Collaborative Documents with Google Drive
This is a great tool for people to share documents without the limitations of platforms or software. You only need to know a collaborators email address to share the document. They will need to create a google document account to edit the shared information. You can create a word processing, a spreadsheet, a presentation or a form. Several people can edit the document at the same time with few errors. It is a timesaver when holding meetings with a group. You can post the agenda... invite everyone and then anyone in the group can take notes or edit the notes as they are posted.

I can make my information look sharp and attention getting. The only problem I have is the slow response time during development. But I love the results and it is FREE! |
Wikis
Wikis are web areas that members can view and edit. This creates online areas for collaboration. You can use a Wikispace for a website but the true beauty of a wiki is allowing others to add their thoughts, ideas and information on your page. More than a just a blog comment, your members can add content.

Diigo adds a whole new layer to the bookmark arena. Now you can belong to groups of educators who also bookmark and share their tagged sites with others. What makes it better than Google is the search results are likely to be more relevant to my needs because of who is in my social circle... educators!!! |
